Ya learn something new every day

So, today I found out that Taquitos (aka rolled tacos, but don't call them that) were invented here. in San Diego. More specifically, at El Indio [story] I've eaten there a coupla times, but I've never gotten taquitos. I'm more of an enchilada and chips n salsa guy. But hey, if they were invented there, I should at least try them, right?

And wow. The Caesar Salad was invented just on the other side of the border, in Tijuana? Shit, I never woulda guessed that either. I just thought Tijuana was the place to go for people under 21 to drink legally.

So everybody, wish your friendly neighborhood Taquito a happy 65th birthday... and then scarf that puppy down. Taquitos are goooooood.
