Much like the mongoose and cobra in Asia, the stapler and staple remover are natural sworn enemies in the workplace. Here, we see a conflict between the two. Although smaller, the staple remover is swifter, which gives it an advantage in situations like this.
It's just another day in the fight for survival and supremacy on the office desktop.

Staple remover always wins.
At least, it does when I play. Then it bites my hand happily. Then we sing songs.

For the longest time I always called staple removers "de-staplers". I'd be like "Hey, can I borrow your de-stapler?" and I swear people would look at me like I had nads on my forehead. I don't know at what point I realized the proper name is "staple remover". But I did. Thank god.
