who’s got the highest?

Just out of curiousity, who out there has seen the highest gas prices?

The place where I go to was $2.91.9 a gallon, but that was yesterday morning. It might have gone up since then. There's another place by my house that's $3.07.9 a gallon. I haven't really looked anywhere else, but these stations are usually about the average for what I can find (not counting small mom n pop places, like Bob's Gas or whatever). And now I heard on the radio that in some places, gas will cost over $4 a gallon... next week...?!?!?

So. Let's find out what everybody's paying. Tell me where you're from, and how much gas is.

Update: I heard that some places in Atlanta, GA are charging more that $6.00 a gallon. Talk about looting...
$1.25/L is the highest I've seen in Toronto which is $4.73/gal CDN. If my untrustworthy math skills are to be believed thats about $4.05/gal US.
I heard parts near or in Atlanta was $5-$6. Its running a little over $3 a gallon here. Jumped about 30-50 cents in a day.
Filled up for $2.59/gal yesterday, here in Portland Oregon.
Is everyone quoting 87 octane prices? The expensive station by my office has 87 at $3.09. However, my car gets messed up if I put 87 in my tank, and so I have to use 91, which of course costs 20 cents more per gallon, on average.

I heard last week that Santa Barbara (where I am) had the highest prices in CA, but if everyone is quoting 87 octane prices, then apparently that has changed.
Columbia, MO
Tuesday $2.79
Wednesday $2.89
Thursday $2.99
today I filled up at 2.85 a gallon in North Dallas. That was $50 I could have used on beer.... or better yet, could hav given to the Red Cross.

I will be trying public transportation for the first time in my life soon.
It was $2.99 here last night, up from about $2.39 the day before.

I didn't look today, but I wish even more than usual that the light rail came out to where I work!
Blytheville Arkansas..

3.02 to 3.70 and rising. It's 6.02 on the far west coast near the Carolinas..
I paid $2.99 on Monday morning, but I have no idea what it is now.
Oh yeah, and I'm in the mid/south Puget Sound region of WA.
Brookland, AR is now at $2.99 per gallon was of 15 minutes ago.

I work in Paraoguld, AR and it was as high was $3.19 per gallong there.
Currently anywhere between $3.29 and $3.50 in Milwaukee -- and they hiked prices Tuesday morning. And that's a jump from "only" $2.69 on Monday.
Denver, Colorado: When I drove to work this morning, gas was $2.85/gal (up from $2.59 a couple of days ago). When I got off work it had skyrocketed to $3.09.
Six bucks? Isn't all of what's going on bad enough? Do these gas stations really need to reenact portions of the Shawshank Redemption on their customers?
$2.99/gal in Chattanooga, TN
It was an interesting drive to work this morning. I live in Peoria, AZ but work in Scottsdale, AZ so it was interesting to see the prices get higher and higher with each gas station I passed. In Peoria it started out as 2.89 and ended in Scottsdale at 3.09.
yesterday on the way to work: $2.49
yesterday going home from work: $2.99
today going home from work: $3.12

i live in a small town so i thought we had good gas prices, but i can see a lot of other people are paying much less! i guess that's what i get for living next to the interstate. :\
oh, forgot to say i live in Virginia
2.89 at costco - HUGE line
In western australia, we're currently paying about $1.60 AU for a Litre of petrol...
3.59 a gallon here in Long Island NY.

yesterday it was 2.99.

bastids i tell ya..
I might add that the dude in Atlanta who was charging over $6. (and was the store owner and not American by birth--just sayin') was busted by the media and then the governor. Should be back down today.
I drove by 3 places today, one was still $2.99, down the street a place was charging $3.59. Fucking price gougers.
it's 3.29 here but i just have to brag...yes i said BRAG, that wisconsin has the highest gas tax in AMERICA!! yes you heard it here first on heyfreak.com HIGHEST IN AMERICA FOLKS!!! makes a woman proud!
The stations in Atlanta that were charging so much got in trouble for price gouging. It should have gone down by now. That's what I heard, at least.
