who’s got the highest?

Just out of curiousity, who out there has seen the highest gas prices?

The place where I go to was $2.91.9 a gallon, but that was yesterday morning. It might have gone up since then. There's another place by my house that's $3.07.9 a gallon. I haven't really looked anywhere else, but these stations are usually about the average for what I can find (not counting small mom n pop places, like Bob's Gas or whatever). And now I heard on the radio that in some places, gas will cost over $4 a gallon... next week...?!?!?

So. Let's find out what everybody's paying. Tell me where you're from, and how much gas is.

Update: I heard that some places in Atlanta, GA are charging more that $6.00 a gallon. Talk about looting...
Winston Salem, NC - $3.99/gal. Yesterday it was $3.09/gal. I'm buying a bike.
I paid $2.79.9 per gallon to fill up last night. I think I will get really bitter when it takes $35 to fill up my tank.
$1.16/litre which works out to $4.40/gallon (or $3.77/gallon in american money).
$1.30+/litre which is just over $4US/gallon I believe.
$3.09 in beautiful Tierrasanta. Damn.
$3.29 in my neighborhood in San Clemente. I will have to get gas tonight so I'll tell you what I find. I haven't seen anything below $3.00 since Tuesday. I'll have to check out GasBuddy.com if I want to find something cheaper. Now, if I see something for $2.90 it seems cheap.

I will not be the least bit surprised if it is $4.00 this weekend (holiday weekend). Motherfuckers.
I'm in Newfoundland Canada...right now it's 1.25.5. Its supposed to jump another 19 cents this weekend.

I'm afraid I'll have to trade my car for a skate board after all this. HAHHA
Are we talking what we paid or what we've seen? Last night, I filled up for $2.83/gallon, but I've seen as high as $3.39/gallon.
$3.15 a gallon - but i'm going to costco tonight to get gas. they are usually cheaper than any place else in town. i think i'm going to have to buy a scooter to get back and forth to work with all these high gas prices.
It's 3.18 or 3.19 everywhere he in Kalamazoo. I was lucky to find a place that hadn't gone up yet on Tuesday night where I paid $2.65/gal to top off my tank.
Here in Calgary we haven't hit the $1/litre mark yet, but we've come close ($0.99). I've heard that in Quebec it's up to $1.39/litre.

I second the "I'm buying a bike" comment. I'm getting pretty tired of hearing people complain about gas prices, like we have a right to an obviously finite resource at bargain prices.
I live in Lubbock, TX. And gas here is $2.99 this lovely morning.
I saw everywhere from 2.69 - 2.99 today on my way to work. Of course, I only live about 5 miles from my work. In other parts of the city it could be worse. There is talk that the price will go up over $4.00 within a week. I'm going to fill up my tank and buy some gas cans to fill up tonight as well.
Just south of Detroit, in Michigan it is $ 3.39 .
Last night before we went to bed it was $2.99/gallon. This morning it was $3.34/gallon.

Good times.
London..England

Works out at $6.49 per US gallon :(

Think yourselves lucky........
So, here in the land of Michigan State University the gas prices have not changed in a day or so. 3.19/gal!
I don't use diesel, but my company relies on it. The diesel pumps in North County (specifically San Marcos) are right now at 3.36.9. I think regular was actually 3.01.9. Scary shit, considering they're saying it's still going to rise quite a bit.
The gas station across from my office in Montomery County, MD just outside of DC is $3.09. Yesterday, it was 2.97. I didn't think to look at the stations that are actually in the District.
prices vary widely here in CT. I've seen from $2.79 to $3.19 today.
I second Jessi's comment -- I paid 2.97 two days ago in Alexandria, VA, and I haven't looked today. I would miss the last job I had, which is less than three miles from home, if that job didn't suck so hard.
In mid-Michigan: $3.49/gallon this morning.

Last night we filled up for $3.19/gal, on Tuesday it was still $2.99/gal, Saturday before the hurricane it was $2.65/gal...

North burbs of Chicago...Yesterday at 1200, I saw it for $2.89 but waited a whole 3 hours to fill up...by then I paid $2.94 a gallon. And a gas station less than 1/2 mile from there was charging $3.29!!!

And I do work about 3 miles from home. Oh yeah, I am definitely digging out my bike and re-learning how to ride it.
Northern New York - and the price went from $3.15 this morning to $3.59 this afternoon.
Buying a bike? Nope. I'm buying a spiked morningstar.

It's Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome time! I hope you've all been training!!
