Let me get this straight.
A blowjob between two consenting adults? Boo!
Pedophilia? a-OK!
The blowjob I was referring to? Obviously, that's Clinton and Lewinsky. It's an impeachable offense.
The Pedophilia? That's Mark Foley, former Republican Congressman. It was really disturbing to discover that the GOP knew about it as far back as 2001. As in, covered it up, or at the very least, did nothing about it.
And they defend their inaction by saying that they were told that the messages were just "over-friendly."
And now, they show that they don't know that homosexuality and pedophilia are two entirely different things.
I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Clinton, though.

Before somebody busts a tittyball in excitement... Clinton's impeachable offense was lying (withholding the truth?) about the bj under oath, not the act of receiving the bj itself.
However, for most intents, no - nobody particularly cared as much about the lie as much as the act itself. That was the impetus for the public crucification, right?
But, given the choice, I'd rather have people in office who get blowjobs than weirdos who dig on the kids. A guy who likes blowjobs is normal. A guy who digs on kids isn't sane enough to vote on American Idol, let alone public policy.

Yes, I should have clarified. The lying was the impeachable offense. Luckily, Bush has never lied about anything *smirk*
But, think about it. Think about the millions ($40 million, wasn't it? Or was it more) of taxpayer dollars that went into investigating whether or not he indeed got a blowjob. Republicans went after him like he was the devil himself.
Those same Republicans allowed Foley to keep harassing underage pages.
Those same Republicans are now blaming 9/11 on Clinton, because he was distracted about the whole blowjob thing. Apparently, the irony that they themselves caused the distraction is lost on them.
