the host with the most

So. I think it's safe to say that I'm settled in here at heyfreak.com. It was tough to let go of electricbugaloo, but I was switching hosts, and I figured that it was as good a time as any. Besides, things need to be shaken up a bit every once in a while.

And I'm glad I switched. My new host (Moxie Hosting) really kicks ass. And I'm not just saying that because I live with Moxie girl Joelle. I try to keep Moxie related stuff and my blog separate. But really, if you're looking for a good, dependable host, you should take a look at Moxie Hosting.

Christine, you da bomb!

Speaking of Christine, she's also started a 5 in '05 challenge for the new year... the goal is to lose 5 lbs a month every month this year. It's a nice, managable and healthy goal, and it's attainable. And before you think that 5 lbs in a month sounds like nothing, think about the big picture - in just one year, that's 60 lbs. That's nothing to scoff at.

So, there's some good shit going on already this year, huh. See? I told you that 2005 would be a great year!
Um. I don't think I should try the 5 in '05. By December I would only weigh 38lbs.
I'd have prefered an MP3 of the Dr. Pepper theme from David Naughton; my memories of "Makin' It" have been sullied by time shock
dude i have to do that 5 in '05. Holy crap.
You freaked me out with that song. I so used to have a crush on David Naughton. (That's the theme song to the TV show of the same name. With Ann Jillian. And also he was on My Sister Sam. And he was in a Dr. Pepper commercial where he danced. Because he was also a dancer.)

Big big crush.
blank stare
Ok, babe, let me apologize in advance for saying this in your comments. But...

Congratulations, Sky. You're skinny. Good for you. I don't know you, but I think that comment was unnecessary, don't you? Obviously, some people may find the five in '05 important to them, needed and motivational. And maybe, just MAYBE, some people don't weigh 98 lbs or whatever. Sure, maybe they're overweight because they ate too much or didn't exercise, but whatever the reason is, it's their reasoning. I don't think that leaving some comment that basically says, "I'm thin, you're not." which is left solely to make other people feel bad about themselves and for your own validation is completely shitty.

But congrats, you succeeded offending, if that was your goal. If it wasn't, you may want to think before you speak.

I'm sorry, but that really pissed me off.
i like the new name too. and yes, christine kicks ass. smile happy new year!
