What can we conclude from this? It's totally obvious, people. Dogs don't moo, thusly, people aren't born gay.
This is the kind of "wisdom" you'll find at no-moo-lies.com.
Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? Almost as much sense as... saying that research on embryonic stem cells is murder, but throwing them in the garbage is OK.

I personally like the idea of using the example of a dog mooing vs. woofing, then the example of gay penguins who turned straight, only to be followed by an entire page of why animal behavior is not an acceptable model. (at least not for your argument, but for mine, animal behavior is great)

OMG! That site is serious, isn't it? I expected a not serious site...but there they are, being serious with that crap. bleah...
Anyway, I heard some politician on the radio talking about this stem cell thing and how it's wrong because we "shouldn't play god." Ok, if that dude believes in god then he believes that we all have a preconceived destiny, right? That's my understanding of Christianity, we're "living under god's will." So, then Christians shouldn't accept organ, tissue, or blood donations, they shouldn't accept treatment for cancer, etc. Isn't that "playing god?"
I think it's all very silly. We can dispose of them but we can't use them to help people who are living? What sense does that make?

i agree with itchy up there... and also the fact that invitro would fall under the same guidelines. that's playing god becuase if god had meant for you to have kids, you'd be able to have them.
these politicians care more about the fetus/embryo's than they do about the kids once they are born. it pisses me off.

Without a doubt-- that was the stupidest thing I've seen in a-- week. Okay, maybe a month. What the hell is wrong with these conservatives anyway? How about instead of saying that gays and lesbians can go straight, how about let them do what they want to do and let that be the end of it.

that just reminds me of a quote from friends ... joey says something like, "it's a moo point. you know, like a cow's opinion." that's basically what i think about all that bs. it might as well be a cow's opinion for all the sense it makes.
