Seen in the paper today:

John Stamos now has a starring role in E.R. next season. Right now, the shark is asking "How high?"

Rob & Am-buh will have a new reality show... about Rob's attempt to become a professional poker player. You know, to address the millions of nationwide cries from the public to be able to see a former Survivor winner practice his poker skilz at PokerStars.net. Oooh! He just bluffed out Harold Lederman!

Now, I'll give some props to John, because he was married to Rebecca Romijn for a while, so he can't be all that bad. But Rob? "Boston" Rob? Nothing personal against the guy, but really, who in the hell keeps giving this guy (and Am-buh) jobs? And why? Is it the same guy (or girl) who inexplicably makes movies just for Will Farrell (like that stupid looking NASCAR movie)? Is it the same guy who thinks Owen Wilson needs to make a few more buddy movies? Is it the same guy who tells Donald Trump "Your hair looks fine. Don't worry about it."?

The guy needs to be fired, that's for sure.

ER is one of the few network shows I still make it a point to see. It will be very distracting to have to watch Uncle Jessie playing doctor.

Stamos was actually supposed to be on ER last season if I have my facts straight. He, however, in all his infinite wisdom chose to go with the short-lived and very little seen Jake in Progress. All the product he puts in his shiny, shiny pretty hair (what? me jealous because a guy has prettier hair than me? nah. please. as if) must have addled the man's brain. Granted, ER is on its very last breaths with a big DNR stamped across its chart but still, I'm thinking it's better than a sitcom. Didn't he hear? Sitcoms are dead! Dead!

Well, unless it's on CBS and stars Doogie Howser and then it's so on, baby!

People are getting tired of the B.S. with Luka and and ER needed some fresh eye-candy. And Neela needed a love interest since that crap with Gallant really tanked. But I totally agree with you Mikey...that shark was jumped so long ago.
