Hey Freak!

Dangit. I totally forgot that last night was the premiere of American Idol. Really, the first batch are the best episodes, right? I mean, most people don't care who the good singers are... we just want to watch/hear the bad ones. Train wreck TV.

I managed to catch a glimpse of it, though. Mark McGrath is a judge now? What happens if the vote is tied 2-2? And since when did he become a connoisseur of music? Don't get me wrong - I like Sugar Ray and everything, but... well, now that I think about it, they did sell out to the pop sound; maybe he's perfect as a judge.

So, did I miss anything good? Or, better yet, did I miss anything bad?

Because, you know, I'd hate to miss the coming out of the next William Hung...

You never questioned how Paula or Simon became connoisseurs of music?

You missed the chick that thought she "always dressed up" but was really dressed like a chunky hooker, the dude that was related to Toni Braxton but couldn't sing a note. And as always you missed the morons that argued and said that they could sing even though even Mark MaGrath said they couldn't. Yeah, it was funny.

you missed some girl in white pants with a severe weggie and bad case of camel toe, to make it better she was a little on the edge. Mark was part of a new thing they are doing, guest judging. Kenny Loggings, LL cool and Gene Simons are all I can remember right now.

Oh, man...don't forget to watch it tonight. Cuz that is some funny shit. Krista gave you the run down on the best of the best (i.e. "Mary", who was the finale of the show. Her friends have all told her that they think she's da bomb when it comes to singing, and she got a little psycho before leaving the audition room. And then they got her to sing for the camera again in the lobby of the hotel! It was fanfuckingtastic, I tell you...), but as you well know, it's hard to put into proper words just how disturbed some of these "talented" people must be to think they can sing.

And Mark McGrath was a guest judge. They're going to have a few of those this year, it seems. They include the likes of Brandy and Kenny Loggins. Should be interesting. There weren't any ties to be broken last night. At least, not that they showed. It was always pretty unanimous when it came to whether they all thought someone was good enough or not...but that's an interesting thought. I wonder what they'll do if there is a tie?

That girl with the short hair who was all wiggin out towards the end was the best! She was a psycho bitch!

They'll be sure to show you clips of Mary Roach ('voices' girl) tonight. She was somethin' else. I THOUGHT that was some camel toe I saw goin' on there, but it wasn't always a clear CT, so I hesitated to call it that... but since someone else saw it, well, then CT it is.

Personally, I liked the girl who said that GOD gave her this talent and that HE sent her to American Idol and that HE WANTS HER TO WIN THIS CONTEST. Then when they voted her down, she went outside and cussed Simon like a sailor.

Mark is a sweetie, I met him at a concert back in 1999. I always heard that he was an asshole... but then again, he's always going to be nice to the girls. Damn, I wish I would have got a piece of that.
