OK, so I made a last-minute decision and made the long drive up to Vegas to check out the
Adult Entertainment Expo (aka AEE, AVN, "The Porn Show", etc.). I didn't have the money or the time to do it up like I usually do, though... I just got a one day pass as a fan (usually, I get in as trade, but didn't get to register in time). Still, it was pretty damned fun. Don't worry, you'll get a full report once I'm home and in the comfort of my own place. I'm going to a minor league hockey game tonight (Las Vegas Wranglers vs. Victoria Salmon Kings), so I won't be home until tomorrow.
And now, I have to figure out what to do with myself for today. I don't want to goto the show again (it's expensive paying by the day), and I don't really have any money for gambling or hookers, so... I guess I'll just play X-Box on my friend's huge-ass HD TV.. Seriously, this screen is like five feet wide. And my friend also has his computer hooked up to the TV, so I'm typing this whilst sitting on the couch. The only problem is that I'm a bit nearsighted, so I can't tell if I have any typos at the moment. I suppose I could stand up and get closer to the screen, but that would require me getting up, and... well, I'm already comfortable.
OK, fine, I'll show you the TV. I have to get up to get some food, anyway. And then, I'll play some Rock Band. And pine for an X-Box of my own.

That is a truly impressive TV. I suppose I can see how typing on it might not be too easy, but still...awesome.

Did the day pass get you into the same area[s] that the trade pass would have? Did you notice a larger than usual turnout now that it's been opened up to the masses?
More importantly, what brand and size is that tv? I need me one of those!!
