OK, so file this under "things I've always wanted to do, but just haven't gotten around to yet"... now, don't laugh, but I've always wanted to adopt a highway. You know, just one mile, like, on the outskirts of town, and I'll have to go out there and clean it twice a month or whatever. But hey, I'll get my name up on the side of the road. It's all about the prestige, even if it's just Mile 68.

Dude, pharmaceutical companies need to be stopped from making commercials. Seriously. Last night, I heard what's possibly the stupidest thing ever uttered on TV. You see, this commercial opened with this line: "Genital Herpes can really be a hassle." Well no fucking shit.

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, it's all about the love songs. Some of the mooshier ones were posted on Friday, so now we're going a little more upbeat. Like, the song Just the Way You Are, by Milky. No, it's not a cover of Billy Joel's song of the same name... it's totally different, and happy. Wembley by the Candy Skins is also one of my favorites, even though it was never really popular (I mean, who here has even heard of the Candy Skins?).

there was a cops mardi gras edition show on last night; apparently, you can get arrested for flashing your boobies too often. the cops give a little leeway.

oh, and if you drop your pants at mardi gras, you're going to jail. there were several people who apparently didn't realize that wagging a dick in public is grounds for jail no matter where you are.

regarding the highway: go for it! You can joelle can do it together my brother adopted a highway with his fraternity, and he says it's kinda cool.
