You know what I hate? Well, not so much "hate", but it really creeps me out...?
When you're driving along, and you see some roadkill on the ground, and it's looking at you. I mean, seeing roadkill is bad enough, but when the intact head is facing you as you drive by... man, that's just creepy.
Today, I saw a dead fox. Or dog.
Well, half of one, anyway.
I guess roadkill in general pretty much sucks.
It's just worse when it's looking at you.

I just noticed that dead deer on the side of the road look a lot like kangaroos...
Well, maybe it was the margaritas I was drinking that night...but none the less, it looked like one =)

there's a place not to far from my house, where the state road crew throws all the roadkill they scrape up. As you can imagine, the site is funky, but the HUGE group of turkey buzzards that live there are pretty neat. you can watch them devour a carcass in minutes, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Reminds me of the time I was in the car with my dad when I was a kid, and we passed a dead deer like that. I had just reached the point where I could see more than the treeline and I was horrified, but my dad was unfazed, saying "Deer's lookin' at you, kid."
Maybe this is why I went vegan?
