But I did see the part with the "God wants me to be a singer" girl from the night before. The one who cussed out the judges when she didn't make it. Mark McGrath summed it up best: "God wants you to be hot." And she was definitely hot. But honey, if God wanted you to be a singer, you'd be a freakin' singer by now.
Oh, anyway... back to last night. I'm trying to think of anybody who really stuck out, but I can't. Oh! Except for that part with the 16 yr old girl, and Paula told her that she could get voice-over work. Oh man, that was fucking brutal. I actually felt bad for the girl. Seriously.
Since Idol wasn't doing it for me, I decided to check out that SI Swimsuit Model show. I only saw six girls on there, and honestly, there was only one who I thought was attractive. I don't even remember her name (it was not that diva-wannabe... what was her name, Alicia?), but she was the only hottie.
But I switched back to Idol in time to see that last chick. Hello, can we say with a good degree of assuredness that she's got no honest people in her life? I mean, how could anybody in their right mind tell that girl "Oh yeah, you should totally try out for American Idol. You're such a good singer!"
Is it on again tonight? If not, I'll just watch Tilt or CSI.
