Hey Freak!

OK, so we went to go see Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Saturday. Good movie. A bit hokey at times, but all in all, a good "fun" movie (plus it doesn't hurt that it features Angelina Jolie). But there was one part that kinda bugged me, and I think I can talk about it without really giving away any of the movie... because you see some of it in the commercials.

I'm talking about Vince Vaughn.

Now, I like the guy. I thought he was great in Swingers. Heck, I even thought he was funny in Old School. But now? I'm sorry, Eden, but I'm sick of him. In every movie since Old School, he's played the same character - successful but washed up middle aged man, in the movie just for comic relief (his character isn't important to the story otherwise). You know what I'm talking about? He's always the same freakin guy.

I swear, he's turning into Tom Arnold. Heck, he's probably the reason that Tom Arnold doesn't do movies anymore - Vince is taking all the slightly over-the-hill, guy desperately hanging on to his youth roles.

A few years from now, don't be surprised if he's got his own sports show.

I agree but I think the Wedding Crashers looks decent. I loved Vince in Made. He was such an ass in that movie...

Vince Vaughn, actually. He and Doug Liman are lovers from what I read.

Any man who quotes Mr. Mom deserves a blow job. Except I just typed "blog job" and really, that just doesn't seem as sexy.

I always thought Joelle had a resemblance to Ms Jolie. I saw the movie too, brilliant. Didn't know who to perve on the whole way through!!!

No wonder Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for her. Hubba hubba. And isn't Brad Pitt just getting sexier as he gets older??

Unfortunately, I agree with you, Mikey. I was thinking the same thing the other day when I saw him in the preview for one of his new movies. He looks exactly the same in every movie now. His face looks puffy lately, too.. looks like he's been drinking heavily. It's sad, really. But one difference between Vince and Tom - Tom was NEVER hot, or even remotely charming.

But all this doesn't change the fact that I still adore Vince and wouldn't hesitate for a second to get him in the sack.
