OK, so I was trying to remember all the really stupid childhood taunts we used to say as kids. No shit, Sherlock. No doy. Sit and spin (it's an insult... kinda like "Sit on it, Potsy!"). I know you are, but what am I? Dillhole/dillweed. Whatever, Stu (Stu was short for Mr. Stu Pidass). Up your nose with a rubber hose. (OK, maybe I got that one from the sweathogs)
Damn. I had a billion of these in my head just a second ago, but no, as soon as I try to blog this, *poof* they're all gone. Execpt for "no doy." That ever happen to you? You're trying to think of something, and then something else, but you can't get the first something out of your head, so therefore, you'll never think of something else? I hate that. Damned no doy.
Anyway.
Help me out, here. What were some of the stupid childhood taunts you used to use?
update: Remember this? "Smooth move, Ex-Lax!"
another update: One of my all-time faves: "Face!"
Next entry: Two quick things...
Previous entry: More about me...
"Sit on it and rotate 'til it's raw." was our brilliant version of sit and spin.
There's always the response to, "see you later."
"Not if I see you first!"

I'm rubber and you're glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

When someone asks where something is: "Up your butt and around the corner"
When someone sticks out their tongue: "No thanks, I use toilet paper."
That's all I can think of now.

what are you talking about childhood? I used sit and spin just the other week. it was awesome. "sit and spin, baby. sit and spin." finger optional.

I remember the expected response to "See you later," was always, "Not if you go blind!" to which you'd further reply, "Or turn invisible."
And, not exactly a "taunt", but instead of "dude" for a while we all said "bra".

and not exactly as a kid but if someone asks you for a match..."yeah, your face and my ass."
I use that at work all the time.
never heard "no doy"

Oh, you must not forget "Psyche!" I mean, to get that one meant someone was seriously jacking with you.
Or..."As if!"
And the ever mature "That's so funny I forgot to laugh!"
I must've either been really mean or got taunted a lot. I could go on and on. Sad, really.

One of my personal favorites was the:
"If it was up your butt you'd know!"
That was used if someone asked where somethings was.

No doy is still used in elementary school - my daughter says it to me ALL the time.
But one I haven't heard for a long time is "hamster brain.' From that oh so wonderful commercial.

In middle school we went through this phase where you'd run up to someone and if you successfully cupped your hand over their mouth and yelled "MUFF!" you were like the king for the rest of the day. I have no idea where it came from, how it started, or why. It may have some origins that I am not aware of... But it was stupid and one dude had the stinkiest hands. Being muffed by him was not fun.
And now I'm giggling...being muffed. That actually sorta sounds fun now that I got a dirty mind...

The proper response to "No shit, Sherlock!" is "Keep digging, Watson!".

at my school, kids would wrap their hand around your face and say... 'face'. like, in your face. i have no iea where it started or where it came from, but even then i thought it was about the most stupid thing i'd ever heard.

Dude, I can't believe no one has said, "YOUR MOM!" That was like, the insult to end all other insults.
"You're a dillhole, Cindy!"
(Giggles from crowd. Tee hee! She called her a dillhole!)
"Your mom."
(Hushed silence falls over... oooh! She said, "YOUR MOM!")
Ha!

It's amusing to read these, as I haven't heard any of them before (except "No shit, Sherlock!"). But I could tell you the same kind of stuff in Finnish, obviously.

I totally said "no doy" when I was a kid. man, that brings back memories. I'm glad to see someone else mentioned "psyche!" b/c I totally used that (and I'm sure I could dig up an embarassing old letter that shows I never knew how to spell it).
as always, good memories there, dude (a word I still use all the time).

"Do it again, Oxy 10!"
We weren't real imaginative at my school apparently.

I used to teach and heard way too many:
"You're like a fly - all you do is eat shit and bother people"
"You jerkwad"
"And I should care because......?"
"So?" (Response is "No, but I cook a little")
Of course, the classic "Bite Me"

When my dad used to swear and say, "Jesus Christ!" we'd answer, "How'd ya recognize me without my sandals?!"
And then one time my mom tried to be witty and use it, and my dad simply replied, "By your beard!" That was hilarious and topped it all...poor mom! Heeheehee..good ol' Catholics!!
Here's another one..."I OWNED you!" (In this case, my dad "owned" my mom by saying something funnier than she did. ) It was a way to say you beat someone at something.
No doy, no duh, no der...all variations we used. We were kind of pathetic apparently! : )
