I'm not a parent myself, so I try not to talk about what parents should do. You know, how to raise their kids, blah blah blah. But, I don't think I'm wrong in saying this: if you can find time to fuck, then you should be able to find time to raise your kids.

The children of Michael and Iana Straw, a boy age 22 months and a girl age 11 months, were severely malnourished and near death last month when doctors saw them after social workers took them to a hospital, authorities said. Both children are doing well and gaining weight in foster care, prosecutor Kelli Ann Viloria told the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Police also said that they had to shave the girl's head, because her hair was matted with cat urine. Cat urine. She also suffered from a mouth infection, dry skin, and dehydration. The boy had a genital infection, and was also treated for starvation. And, his lack of muscle development meant that he had difficulty walking.

So, what, you ask, were the parents doing while their children were rotting away?

Viloria said the Reno couple were too distracted by online video games, mainly the fantasy role-playing "Dungeons & Dragons" series, to give their children proper care. [full story]

Like I said, if you can find the time to fuck (which they obviously did), you should be able to find time to raise your children. Don't worry; the game will still be there when you get back.

Dude-the girl was only 10 pounds! Here's some perspective---my girls were over 8 pounds each when they were born. My cat (the one who DOESN'T urinate on babies heads)is over 10 pounds!
Now keep in mind that while even a great fuck-fest can take several hours, raising kids takes a lot more time than that. So your theory is a little off the mark, but still.....

Were you as unsurprised as I was to learn that the dad was unemployed?

And the sad thing? Depending on which resort prison they end up at, don't they have video games there for prisoner recreation?

I'm a mother and I'll admit I spend WAY too much time online (I'd even say I am addicted). But, my house is clean, my kids are fed and clean (and I even play with them!). There's more to this than the game. I'm online from the time I get up until the time I go to bed, and I get things done. Those people just suck!!

I wish situations such as this were rare and uncommon. Not the case. People suck...

I hope those people not only go to jail, but the judge orders them sterilized so they can't have more children.

Maybe they should have gone down to one computer in the house? You play WOW while I clean up the cat piss and feed our kids, then we trade off. Deal?
