Online, you can tell a lot about someone's personality. A lot of times, people will post pictures of their face so you can see what they look like.
But one thing you can't really tell, and you don't hear a lot of people asking...
How tall are you?
Me? I'm pretty short for a dude. 5'6", to be exact. A lot of people already know that, but I'm sure there will be some people who are surprised by that. Or, didn't even think about it. That's why I'm curious - I usually don't think about it, either. Well, until now.
So. How tall are you?
Next entry: The Force is... wait... WTF?

5'8", without my heels. But of course, I'm never without the heels.
I wasn't surprised by your height when I met you but I was surprised by my overwhelming urge to hug you. Something about San Diego makes me want to hug people.

I am a wee bit over 5'7". Today I'm taller than that because I wore my girly shoes.

5'4". Not terribly tall, but not freakishly short for a girl. Funny how it's the first thing people ask when you chat online, but it's the last thing you'd ask if you become a regular blog reader.

Your height is more noticable when you're in pictures with your honey.
I'm 5'7.
I'm 5'7.

I'm like you, I can (with a good stretch) sometimes hit 5'7. I think I was taller in my 20s.

I'm 6'3".

Well, I've got you beat. I'm 4'10... and a half. I know. I know. Everyone wants to be just like me.

five feet, three and one third inches
I've been told that I can not include the third, that it is not a legitimate unit of measurement, but that's what I am. I am just a bit more than 5'3" without actually being 5'3 1/2" and I'm claiming that bit.

I'm the tallest in my family - 6' 3"
I've never thought of myself as a height bigot - but I do feel slightly jealous when I'm around people who are taller than I am.
My mom, on the other hand, always told me to "never waste your height on a short woman" - though this came from a 5' 6" woman who married a 6'1" guy...

I'm 5'2" ... have you noticed that only short people do the halfsies? I've yet to hear a 6+ person say, "I'm 6'4" and a half."

I'm 5'8''. My dad is 6'2''. Curse my mothers side of the family.

It's hard for me to tell someone's height from pictures a lot of times because there's not a reference point for me to judge. Anyway, I'm 6'2".

5'2", but I never really think of myself as short.

I'm 5'11"... and I don't love it. I wish I were 2 inches shorter.

I'm 5'5" flat footed, but I'm always in heels, so usually between 5'7" and 5'9"
Posted by amy t. on 08/09 at 11:37 AM
I think I'm 5'9" but I'm not sure. Sometimes I'm taller than people who claim to be 5'9".
Maybe I'm 5'9" and a half.

5'9", though I wish I was taller

5'5".
And I get patients at work that always want to include the fraction on their height. It reminds me of kids who are "6, going on 7".
