OK, so I've been tagged with this
5 things meme, where I mention five things about me that most people wouldn't know. But, hell, I talk about myself and all my weird quirks all the damned time... I have to think of five
new things? Great.
Here goes:
- I used to play the violin. I started in 4th grade, was good enough to be in the Anchorage Jr. Youth Symphony, but quit playing after 9th grade.
- I was on the cross-country running and cross-country skiing teams when I was in high school. And I sucked at both sports
- Even though I'm naturally dark (well, not white), I've been to tanning booths. And yanno, i kinda actually like it - the fan drowns out all sound, and you just lay there in warmth and space out... it's like a poor man's sensory deprivation tube. But it makes you tan.
- I've driven (by myself) from Chicago to Phoenix to Jacksonville and back to Chicago. And was tempted to stop at Dollywood when I was in TN.
- If I could have any job in the world and didn't have to worry about money, then I'd love to be a lounge singer in Vegas. Preferably for a dive-bar. That would just be so cool.
OK, so I haven't done one of these meme things in a while... I have to tag other people, right? Let's see... how about...

Is cross country skiing hard? I think it's something I'd like to at least try once.

I've always thought that Dollywood should have a rollecoaster with two gigantic hills next to each other.

Downhill skiing scares me but cross country skiing is a lot of fun. Everyone I know thinks I'm weird for that. But as far as I know, no former mayors of Palm Springs have ever died cross country skiing.
