hey girl, I like yo flava

OK, so... I'm doing pretty good today. I've written down the date a few times, and I've only fucked up the year twice. Well, twice so far.

I've decided that 2005 is gonna be a great year, not just for me, but for you too. So if you're reading this, you can rest easy, because good stuff will happen to you. All year. Yes, I have that much power. These are not the droids you're looking for; move along. Move along.

And what better way to start out what promises to be an outstanding year than to post some happy, catchy tunes?

We'll start old school, with Cupid / I've Loved You for a Long Time by the Spinners. This single (on vinyl) was one of the very very very first music purchases I ever made with my own money. Like you care. Heh.

Next, I implore you to let me be your Boogie Man. That's what I am. I'm here to do whatever I can.

We Close Our Eyes was a song by the band Go West that never really got super popular, but there's just something about this song that puts me in a good mood.

Last song - we're going new school on this one. Sure, the song maybe be about getting freaky with a Nasty Girl, but it's a damned catchy tune. Serious, you listen to this song, and you'll be singing it in your head all day.

Now go forth and be productive!
I've decided that 2005 will be the year that we finally enter the absurd future.

Reality TV is going to go all the way over the top. Like "Running Man" over the top. Cell phones are going to gt implanted under our skin. And, somewhere, a small group of people will start wearing the all-silver bodysuit that, along with the completely shaven head, will eventually become the worldwide accepted universal outfit.

Shaved heads. Gotta shave those heads.
We Close Our Eyes by Go West was HUGE in Canada; we Canucks are advanced musically, y'know.
phew. i was worried about '05 for a while. i mean, i WANT it to by my year and lose weight and cut down my debt, but since you've promised me that it'll be a good year, i'm no longer worried. (and i really am not trying to sound snarky. i'm trying to sound funny).
Once again...stalkin my past through musical interludes?
