Gah. Sorry, Lyn, but #8 isn't Motley Crue. I thought the clue would be easy (really, once you know the song, it's super obvious), but it's clear that I should probably provide a hint.

A hint that won't make it too easy...
The guy who "sang" #8 was a two-hit wonder from the late 80's - early 90's (I don't know exactly when), and he also shares his name with a popular purple cartoon character.
Good enough hint for you? Good, because that's the way it has to be. Because that's the way I like it.
