Why is pot illegal, anyway? No, seriously... why?

A long time ago a bunch of little old ladies got together and said 'Let's make marijuana illegal' and so it has been illegal since. We need to get another bunch of little old ladies together and legalize!

Well I have a friend who started out with pot once in a while and soon it became every day and now he is on "harder" drugs like cocaine and meth. He might be an exception from the rule but for some people pot is the start to the life as a drug addict.

hmm. because somebody hasn't figured out a way for the government to make big bucks off it yet? Because the drug companies are threatend by it? Remember it used to be legal growing up in AK? Only until a few years ago was it made illegal. Since then - crime has gone up. :(

pot is the shit man i think it is good for the soul and it would be a better earth if it was legal not so good for the body but any ways for example there would more room in jail for people that have do something the is so much worse the smoking some green!
