Buncha losers

So, we watched The Biggest Loser finale last night. Lemme tell you, this show is even inspiring me, and I don't even have all that much weight to lose.

First, there was that Poppi chick. This girl was on the show for two days (one in the beginning, and once near the end, where they showed the top 3 at-home players), and really didn't get the benefit of training on the show. All of her weight loss, she did herself, all while living her "normal" life. So what happened to her? She only lost more than half of her starting weight, and went from a size 22 to a size 2.

Then there was Brian, who had the highest weight loss among the people who made the show, but didn't make the finals. He, too, lost more than half of his starting weight (before, after). But there were a lot of people who were close - that Jennifer chick, who looked pretty damned hot, if you ask me (before, after). Ken, that former huge dude from Washington? Looks slick now (before, after). And Jaron? Holy shit, I thought he was gonna win.

And then, the finalists. Heather didn't get weighed, because she got pregnant (I wonder if that was done "on purpose"? Eh, doesn't matter). And then Wiley, who looked freaking spectacular (before, after). I knew he wasn't gonna win, because it was obvious that he put on a bit of muscle weight. And then there was Kai (Alaska, represent!). She lost almost half of her starting weight (before, after), and she looked awesome, too.

And then, the winner, Erik. He started at over 400 lbs. And just look at this dude now. I mean, holy crap. 214 lbs later, he looks like a freakin' senior in college. Nice job, dude.

OK, I hope all those links work, because I've got meetings to go to. Gotta love unproductive days...
holy crap, they all look like totally different people! i love watching that show just to see the transformation people go through.
amazing!
we watched it, too!!!! It was SUCH an inspiration. DD and I were jumping around talking about wanting to go to the gym every day. Wooo!!!!

I think this is the best reality tv ever. I LOVED seeing all their transformations. smile

And yes, all your links worked great!
I like this show as well. It gives me a lot of inspiration.
That was an awesome show! Stuff like that just motivates me to hit the gym more. And speaking of the gym - roll call!
i've never watched the show but the photos alone were inspiring. now that school is over, i can focus on getting back to the gym. it says a lot, i think, of the mindshift that i've made in the last year that i'm really looking forward to the gym time. that alone is progress.
Geez! Those people look amazing! (I just looked through all the before and after pics. While eating muffins.)
crap, I totally forgot to watch the finale! I caught several of the shows. I am SO HAPPY that Eric won, and I am mad impressed by his dedication and work.

I've just got 20 or so pounds to lose, and I too am inspired by this show. I guess maybe I should go work out now, huh?
